Hedman Hedders has been manufacturing quality headers in the USA since 1954, and they've been manufacturing Ford truck headers decades. Each set uses mild steel, smooth flowing, CNC mandrel bent tubes, that are hand-welded to ensure each pair is identical to the next. Hedman's unique, gasketless ball and socket collector design allows your exhaust system to bolt up to these Ford 7.5L (460 CID) headers, even if it is not perfectly aligned with the header collectors.
These uncoated, MID-LENGTH TUBE, headers fit 1988-92 2WD and 1988-97 4WD Ford F150, F250 and F350 trucks (light-duty only) with a 7.5L (460 CID) E.G.R-equipped EFI powerplant. The smooth-flowing 1-3/4 in. tube design provides great exhaust flow to let your Ford F-Series truck's 7.5L engine breathe easy, and produce amazing amounts of torque. These headers have been tested, and granted an E.O. (executive order) number by C.A.R.B., making them 50-STATE LEGAL for use on the vehicles listed on the arb.ca.gov website. They fit column-shift, automatic transmission vehicles only, and are not designed for use on Super-Duty F-series trucks.
These headers are uncoated, and ship from the factory with a temporary black paint that will burn off when submitted to normal operating temperatures. For protection against the element and lower underhood temperatures, these headers are also available with a silver or black ceramic-metallic finish.
Each set includes a pair of gaskets, header flange bolts and collector bolts. No collector gasket is needed.
