Rated for 1200F, and available in natural Lava Shield color or the Black Stealth version. These high-quality heat shields are built to last. Superior to fiberglass, the lava rock fibers are 25% stronger than their fiberglass counterparts. The Lava(TM) fiber also offers some abrasion resistance and additionally it is chemical, oil, and even acid resistant. In addition to wore harness protection, this heat shield can cover AN and other fluid line fittings. This can help to prevent vapor lock, keep oil lines cooler, and protect critical fluid systems.
